About the Role
Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to)...
- Creating a safe and nurturing emotional environment for the children
- Leading and guiding activities, such as reading, physical activity, and creative expression through art and song
- Ensuring that snacks are prepared and distributed to all children
- Providing guidance with safe hygiene practices
- Monitoring children throughout the day and ensuring safety at all times
- Ensuring classroom and play environment are kept sanitary
- Communicate clearly with Leadership and/or parents
The hours are (almost) every Thursday from 8:45 - 11:45am. The children are grouped by age and range from 6 months to 5 years old. Child to caregiver ratios are kept low.
Requirements
Experience with and/or knowledge of working with young children
A cooperative, positive and flexible attitude

About the Company
Grace HB MomCo is a community for moms who live in and around Huntington Beach. We are a local branch of The MomCo (The Mom Community). We encourage and equip moms to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with our home church, Grace Lutheran Church. We host weekly meetings where we educate moms through MomCo curriculum, leadership development, mentorship, and guest speakers. We provide childcare, fellowship, spiritual development, creative opportunities, and local service projects. We build friendships around meaningful conversations and build community through moms night outs. We believe better moms make a better world.
